Price transparency

Pricing & Compare-at Price Policy

The current selling price and any reference price describe different facts and must be evaluated separately.

Current selling price

The current selling price is the amount displayed for the product configuration before separately disclosed freight, tax, title, registration, installation, rigging, accessorial, or other order-specific charges. The cart, accepted quote, and checkout should identify the amount that applies to the order.

Permitted comparison bases

  • Manufacturer reference price A current documented manufacturer MSRP or list price for the matching product and configuration.
  • Former selling price A genuine recent price at which this store openly offered the same product and configuration.
  • Market comparison A documented comparison for an identical new model and configuration, clearly labeled as a market comparison rather than this store's former price.

Evidence controls display

  • A comparison should identify its type, amount, source, source date, review date, expiration, configuration match, condition, geography when relevant, and reviewer.
  • A crossed-out price, savings amount, or promotional badge should remain hidden when required evidence is missing, expired, or does not match the offered configuration.
  • A current third-party price is not this store's original price, and a reference amount must not be increased merely to create the appearance of savings.

Corrections and order review

Pricing or configuration errors may require correction before an order is accepted. Review the final product configuration and every included or excluded charge in the accepted order record.
